British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and US President Joe Biden on Friday postponed the decision to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles provided by the West to attack Russia.
In their meeting held at the White House last Friday, Prime Minister Starmer talked about how the United Kingdom and the United States are strategically linked in their attempts to resolve the Ukraine conflict.
Starmer said the coming weeks and months will be important in Ukraine, adding that it will be important for the two countries to continue supporting the Eastern European country in its war against Russia.
However, the leaders have delayed the decision to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles provided by western countries to attack inside Russia, a plan that raised strong threats from Moscow about war with the NATO community.
Starmer told reporters at the White House that he had a "broad discussion about strategy" with Biden but that it was "not a meeting about specific capabilities."
